Description: Spilna Sprava (Ukranian — Спільна справа, English — Common Cause) was a radical faction of the Euromaidan protest movement, which acted independently from the Euromaidan leadership during the protests. The leader of the group was Oleksandr Danylyuk. Spilna Sprava united rights activists, right-wing radicals, military veterans, soccer hooligans and street toughs, who dressed in fatigues, wore ski masks, and brandished bats, knives and Molotov cocktails. It came to the prominence after its members seized in February 2014 several key governmental buildings in Kiev: the ministries of justice, agriculture, and energy. Militants from Spilna Sprava also stormed and seized the International Convention Center «Ukrainian House» where a large detachment of the interior troops had been stationed. On several occasions Spilna Sprava clashed with the self-defense forces of the Euromaidan, which evicted Spilna Sprava from the ministry of agriculture and the Kiev City State Administration building.
