Can we get an update with over 100.000 images. Thanks. -14:25, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Usually I only update it with counts parsed from the database dumps, so that anyone can reproduce the same results. But since there hasn't been any dumps lately and we've had an important milestone, I took a live number from http://toolserver.org/~para/GeoCommons/info.php. - As of now: 4,391,222 files directly in Category:Media_with_locations. Wow. And there are a lot more photos that could be geolocated, like photos in "category:Parliament building in X". This is getting huge: smartphones + wikidata.--Atlasowa (talk) 10:16, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

- In November 2020 we only have 33,825 images in Category:Media_with_locations. I wonder why this has dropped? WT79 (talk) 21:57, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
