This is where one usually tells people a bit about oneself, right? OK, here you go: I made my first edit on the German language Wikipedia in 2007, but it took me two more years until my first upload at Commons. In 2012 I got my beloved K-5, and that's about the time when I began considering Commons as my favourite Wikimedia project. I've contributed quite a few images as well as some SVG graphs and drawings.
The photographs I create and upload to Wikimedia Commons are usually available under some kind of Creative Commons license. Somewhere on the page that describes the image should be a grey box that summarizes the terms of that license (example). That box also contains a link to the Creative Commons website, where you'll find the full text of the license. Unless you are already familiar with CC licenses, please make sure to read and understand the full legal code of the license, as it contains some important information that is not covered by the summary.
If you have any questions concerning re-using my works outside the Wikimedia projects (e.g. in a book/magazine or on your private website) you are welcome to drop me a line at my talk page (preferred) or write me an e-mail.
If you would like to use one my works under different conditions, please contact me and I will see what I can do for you.
Here are some arbitrarily selected pictures of mine with a little bit of background information or other comments. More stuff here.
This shiny metal … object strongly reminded me of a certain someone from the year 3000 ;-)
My first Featured Picture at Commons.
Experiments in product photography.
FOrget about flowers, buds are beautiful!
Surely one of the worst pictures I've ever uploaded. But with main namespace uses on 17 Wikimedia projects this is also my most used photograph as of 2015.
Ever had the chance to look inside the fuselage of an all-wooden aircraft? Here you go …
My very first Valued Image. This is the Erftlandring, the cart track where famous German racecar drivers such as Michael Schumacher started their career. Soon to be destroyed in order to make room for the approaching brown coal surface mine.
My first FP candidate. It failed at Commons, but to my surprise it later got the at the fa Wikipedia.
I love old cameras and lenses.
In combination with its siblings probably my most-used upload so far, as it is used by the {{Location}} template.
